Breaking News! The New Cosmetic Ingredient "NMN" (NO.7 NCI with new different purpose of use)has now been approved by China's NMPA!
The New Cosmetic Ingredient "β-Nicotinamide Mononucleotide (NMN)"(NO.7 NCI) has been approved by NMPA in China!
"NMN" is a popular ingredient that is used as an anti-aging health product. ZMUni searched the database query on the Chinese National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) officical platform which shows that the Notifier/Filing person (Brand Owner) "Kangying Cranberry (Zhongshan) Biotechnology Co., Ltd" has successfully passed the NMPA notification review of the New Cosmetic Ingredient "β-Nicotinamide Mononucleotide (NMN)"! As an example, the published Chinese NCI notifying/filing number is "国妆原备字20220007" on the NMPA platform, the approved date is 29 March 2022.
This newly approved ingredient “NMN” differs from the ingredient(also called “NMN”, NO.2 NCI)approved by NMPA on 24 January 2022 in purpose of use, scope of use, etc.

English name: β-Nicotinamide Mononucleotide
Chinese name: β-烟酰胺单核苷酸
Purpose of use: skin protector, moisturizer
Use or application scope: used in various skin cosmetics
Safe use amount: ≤10%

This means many products previously rejected by the NMPA because they included NMN now have new prospects in the Chinese market!
