National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) has approved the notification of 33 new cosmetic ingredients in 2022. The total amount of notifications was only 6 in 2021. This rocketing growth indicates that cosmetic companies are increasingly bringing their focus on the innovation of new ingredients, which has great potential of improving their competitiveness in the market.
