What are Endangered Species?

Endangered species refer to all species whose wild population has a great possibility of extinction in the near future resulting from their own reasons or the impact of human activities, natural disaster. The extinction of a key species may destroy the local food chain, cause instability to the ecosystem and eventually lead to the breakdown of the entire ecosystem.

 

How to determine if it requires a certificate?(2 ways to determine)

(1) search through the species list:

Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora(CITES)

Issuing department: The Endangered Species Import and Export Management Office of the People's Republic of China, Scientific Committee of Endangered Species of the People's Republic of China

Issuing Date: November, 2019

List of National Key Protected Wild Plants in China

Issuing department: National Forestry and Grassland Administration

Issuing Date: February, 2021

List of National Key Protected Wild Animals in China

Issuing department: National Forestry and Grassland Administration

Issuing Date: September, 2021

Ingredient Chinese name: 野大豆(GLYCINE SOJA)蛋白

INCI name: GLYCINE SOJA (SOYBEAN) PROTEIN

Latin name: Glycine soja

After the search of List of National Key Protected Wild Plants in China, wild soybean is identified as the national secondary protected plants. If the imported products contain wild soybean, it is necessary to apply to the Endangered Species Import and Export Management Office for the Non Catalogue of import and export wild animals and plants Species Certificate.
